Wage: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

The Star of Honolulu Cruises and Events, one of Hawaii’s top 250 companies has been operating as a premier tour company for more than 60 years. We are looking for a professional to join our team as a Bilingual (Japanese) Sales Representative! Aloha spirit and a positive attitude are essential.

Only current residents will be considered.

Your responsibilities include:

• Maintain and manage existing and new accounts as the representative of the company.
• Respond to sales inquiries, initiates new sales, prospects and qualifies leads and solicits potential clients, prepares proposals, and negotiates contracts.
• Analyze each account and develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and goals.
• Assist and conduct familiarization tours.
• Provide presentation training to new and existing accounts.
• Sales visits to concierge and activity desk agents on Oahu.
• Prepare and conduct annual Japan sales trip.
• Supply written reports on sales activities.
• Prepare sales related documents.

Requirements:

• Proficient in both English and Japanese - Experience or education in hospitality, sales or business management
• Comfortable with computer and Microsoft programs
• Self-starter with excellent use of time management
• Flexible schedule including some weekends, nights, and Holidays
• Able to travel 1-2 times a year
