Job responsibilities
- Responsible for effectively developing analyses/tools needed to help drive business results
- Develop reporting and analyses, such as business strategy impact analysis, tracking, branch support and coverage modeling, and prepares ad hoc management reports and presentations
- Escalates analytical issues quickly and drives resolution; solution focused, and a talent to independently develop value-add business solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written, with an ability to deliver high quality work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Effectively build relationships with all levels of sales management and support
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word at a minimum
- Ability to develop and maintain complex reporting with an understanding of current business processes and functions, and provide actionable and valuable analysis to help drive business results while building and documenting processes on reports and/or analytical tasks
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 2-4 years of experience in Mortgage Originations is required, preferably in the Banking/Financial services industry
- In-depth knowledge of the Mortgage lifecycle is required
- Reporting and analytical skills are required
- Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines
- Ability to manage plans with documented results
- Ability to lead projects and initiatives effectively
- Ability to synthesize complex analysis to concise, impactful presentation information
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, finance, or related field
- SQL, Python, R, Altyrex
