COMPANY BACKGROUND

JOB SUMMARY

An inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving the company’s ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives, making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct communication with customers, and prospecting and selling to new customers.
  • Understand our customer needs and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Research accounts, identify key decision makers and generating interest in Tree Island products.
  • Develops accounts by checking customer’s buying history and pro-actively engaging with the customers.
  • Maintains contact with current and prospect key accounts.
  • Maintains a database of current and potential customers.
  • Keeping up to date on Tree Island product and service information.
  • Staying informed on competitors and competing products.
  • Execute sales plans and manage the entire inside sales process from proposal to close.
  • Implement price increases as required and maintain customer price lists.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales budget.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years previous inside sales experience.
  • Track record of over-achieving quota.
  • Strong phone presence and experience dealing with dozens of calls per day.
  • Ability to calculate discounts, mark-ups, and general mathematic calculations.
  • Proficient with corporate productivity.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.

JOB TYPE: Full-time

PAY: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
