Job Description: Sales Support

Job Summary:
Sales Support aids the account management team with generating inbound requests, creating master quote files, and responding to client and prospect queries. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a knowledge of sales and customer service best practices. You should also be able to interpret sales metrics and be goal oriented.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
- Performs data entry duties including creating customer/vendor profiles and entering new quotes in Quantum.
- Assists with order processing, expediting and updating open orders SO/PO.
- Identifies where improvement is needed in sales practices and makes suggestions for improvements.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and dedication to customer satisfaction
- In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Motivation & Inspiration for Sales Growth & Development
- Demonstrates Aptitude in effective negotiation
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Thrives in fast paced environments
- Ability to pay strong attention to detail and multitask
- Proficient in computer software systems including MS Office and MS Excel
- Eagerness to learn
Education and Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Sales Support Specialist or similar role in the aviation industry.
- MRO/145 repair station experience would be an added value.
- Quantum experience is a PLUS!
- Proven track record of positive sales performance.
