Treatment Coordinator/Sales Position

Summary:

Base Pay + Performance-Based Monthly Incentives + $2,500 Sign-On Bonus!

The Treatment Coordinator strives to be our shining, positive, professional interface representing our company to the public as you interact with our prospective new patients and conduct their initial consultation. Every patient that walks into our practice wants treatment...show them how we can help improve their smile and HOW THEY CAN AFFORD OUR TREATMENT to improve their lives. Identify any barriers to scheduling the patient to start treatment, work to resolve them and close the deal by signing a contract and scheduling them. You do not have to make cold calls or find leads...every consultation wants our product, and you just have to show them how they can afford it!

Primary Objectives:

  • Proactively seek, consume and implement sales training to continuously improve our sales results, including processes and procedures and regular sales training.
  • Work as part of the treatment coordinator team in a manner which promotes teamwork, cooperation, and understanding.
  • Provide an environment that attracts private and cash payers.
  • Ensure that overall practice is cohesive while efficiently and effectively delivering the highest level of patient quality care.
  • Be a shining example to the staff of a professional, and set the standard of patient and staff relations by having a cheerful, energetic, engaging, and empathetic disposition at all times.
  • Build and nurture patient trust and confidence in the doctor and staff by listening to the patient’s needs and concerns.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience, required
  • Valid Tennessee Registered Dental Assistant License, preferred
  • Radiology certification in the state of Tennessee, preferred
  • Treatment Coordinator experience, preferred
  • Bilingual, preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure team members check columns for upcoming days to ensure insurance verification is present, correct and that new patient agreements are scheduled appropriately
  • Run, monitor, and analyze sales metrics to meet or exceed industry numbers
  • Proactively assist with marketing and advertising including social media to attract new patients
  • Grow excellent relationships with referring dentists and other professionals in the community by coordinating doctor meetings, lunch-n-learns and goodie deliveries to referring dental offices
  • Ensure non-patient job duties are completed and equitably divided among team members
  • Coordinate orthodontic services with other dental and medical services
  • Coordinate with the front desk as needed for scheduling appointments
  • Maintain records, document organization, letters, recall, filling band and bond spots, and state insurance submission process
  • Ensure that the clinical customer path is always clean, clutter free, and maintenance issues are handled timely
  • Communicate with parents and patients about treatment plan and financials
  • Monitor estimated completion dates and status changes for active patients
  • Actively participate in all meetings

Skills & Abilities:

  • SALES, persuasion and problem solving skills including conflict resolution, problem identification, problem resolution, and decision making
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain smooth running team environment throughout office
  • Excellent knowledge of verbal and written composition, grammar, and spelling to communicate with the doctor(s), referring dentists, parents, patients, the public and representing our practice and doctor(s)
  • Proficiency in the treatment software and Google Suite
