Great Entry Level Sales Role!

Full Time / In person role

Our firm is partnered with Legacy Solar and a big box retail store to provide customers an easy opportunity to learn about Legacy's products and services in person while they're shopping!

In this role candidates will be representing Legacy Solar. They will approach shoppers to explain the benefits of switching to solar, and encourage customers to get set up with a free appointment to learn even more by meeting with one of our professional sales consultants. In this role you are not selling anything, but lead generating for our consultants and providing best appointment setting services. No prior sales or solar experience is necessary. We provide side by side paid training.

Candidates applying should be comfortable approaching potential customers in the store, love talking to others, and be excited to learn! This is a great job to transition into the sales field.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Approaches/greets customers; provides product and program information, explains the benefits of switching to solar, and signs customers up for a free consultation
• Provides an uplifting and positive experience for every customer
• Strives to turn every potential consumer into an appointment set
• Inputs appointment data into computer systems
• Uphold an excellent form of professionalism every day
• Eager to learn more about the brand's products and services when new opportunities arise
• Performs such other duties and accepts such other responsibilities as are necessary and appropriate for the efficient operation of the store.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• High school diploma / GED required
• Background check is required
• Reliable transportation required
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Comfortable approaching and engaging with guests all day
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Ability to work independently in the absence of a direct supervisor.
• Ability to hit individual and team goals
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and personnel; make decisions; work under pressure in a detailed, organized manner
• Ability to stand for multiple hours at a time
