Description:

Spero Health is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our awesome team!

This position is for a business development specialist who supports the mission of “Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships” in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling, case management, and medically assisted treatment. The Business Development Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop relationships with physicians and other potential referral sources (social services, police, courts, employers, etc.) in the local market and create profiles which include their market share, hospital facility affiliations and key physician referral sources.
  • Communicate Spero Health’s innovative evidenced-based integrated care model that combines both physical and behavioral healthcare services under one roof to treat the whole patient.
  • Build hospital relationships. Provide hospital outreach on an ongoing basis to develop relationships with key hospital employees.
  • Monitor relationship-building progress and impact on same store growth. Report activities and results monthly.
  • Development of community outreach activities, programs, events, lunches, dinners, etc.
  • Participates in exhibitions and community events and assists to prepare materials for distribution. Tracks attendances and follow up with contacts.
  • Work collaboratively with facility administrators to implement marketing approaches that are aligned and support their management action plans.
  • Support other company needs and projects as requested.
Requirements:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University
  • Experience:
  • 2 or more years of related experience in business development
  • 2 years of experience in Healthcare; experience within a multi-site healthcare organization preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
