Full description of the position

We are looking for an experienced territory sales manager in Supply Chain/ Freight Sales to join our new outside sales team.
This position will be responsible for prospecting new customers, advancing the sales cycle to close then building and maintaining strong relationships with the key accounts you have cultivated and earned. You will play a key role in working with our operations team to provide world-class customer service through assets and our professional operator team.

Responsibilities

• Set and monitor sales targets for your territory.
• Network with key decision-makers in the supply chain/ freight sales industry to identify and solve specific complications.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term success.
• Function as the liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure client’s requirements are met.
• Identify and attract prospective strategic customers.
• Ensure brand consistency.
• Negotiate contracts and quote rates.
• Collect and analyze sales data and trends.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings according to company standards.
• Assist with Sales and Marketing departments to set and implement strategies for new products.
• Stay current with internal and external developments and suggest new ways to increase sales.

• Proven work experience as a territory sales manager in supply chain/ freight sales; hunter mentality and ability.
• Solid experience in sales and customer service.
• Demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting client requirements.
• In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics.
• Direct experience with CRM software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate team members.
• BS degree in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
