JOB POSITION: Full time Kitchen Designer and Sales

WHAT DOES KITCHEN SEARCH DO? Design kitchens and sell cabinets, countertops and other accessories

But we only do 3 things really well:

1. MEASURE - we have a full time measurement tech that measures our kitchens. Most of our competitors do not or can not offer this service. When we measure, we also do an in-home consultation with the client, get the most important info from them about what they want to see in their kitchen.

2. DESIGN - because we have our tech measure our kitchens - we work with correct measurements from the get go. Good measurements from the get go ensures that designers do not waist time working with wrong measurements but spend time selling kitchens in a much more efficient way. In return, the designer has more time on estimating more jobs and selling more product!

3. DELIVER - we are unique in this area as well because we assemble most of the cabinets that we sell. This way we control the quality of the product that leaves our warehouse. This also gives us the advantage to controlling the lead time and deliver product much faster then competition

WHAT KITCHEN SEARCH DON’T DO?

We DO NOT INSTALL, we always recommend a contractor. This is the way we have worked for many years and focused on what we do best.

WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN KITCHEN DESIGNER AND SALES POSITION?

As you probably realized by now is that Kitchen Search does things a little different. We maximize your time as a designer/sales so you can focus on what you do best - design and sell.

• Hitting your weekly sales KPI’s (weekly goals)
• Working closely with your sales manager who will provide sales and design support
• Working with rough drafters that do all of the initial kitchen design work for you so you as a designer do not ‘waist' your time on doing drafting work
• Focusing on meeting with clients, estimating material pricing, taking the kitchen design through the finish line, collecting payment and ordering items for your kitchen projects

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• A driven individual who's not afraid of working hard
• Someone who enjoys designing and selling kitchens
• Someone who understand sales and how to ask for a sale

WHAT SKILLS ARE REQUIRED?

• We are looking for someone with kitchen design and sales experience
• Experience working in 2020 Design

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• This job position reports to the Sales Manager
• Learn and develop knowledge of KitchenSearch.com products
• Design and Sales of the kitchen and bathroom products
• Communicate/follow up with clients over the phone and email regarding their questions and requests
• Order processing
• Follow the sales plan KPI’s set for weekly/monthly goals
• Upselling client on kitchen organizers, cabinet lighting, counter tops, backsplash tile, closets, etc..

COMPENSATION:

• $14 per hr
• 2% commissions from all gross sales
• Higher commissions rate when weekly goals are surpassed
• Year end bonus

Our design/sales staff has a competitive compensation structure that rewards surpassing the sales goals KPI’s on the weekly basis. If you are an ambitious individual who is passionate about kitchens as much as we are - you will understand the benefit of this structure to you.

PTO (Paid Time Off):

• 40 Hours PTO (paid time off) after 1 year of employment
• 80 Hours PTO (paid time off) after 2 years of employment
• Personal and Sick PTO

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
