The Sales & Operations Planning Manager will be responsible for the wing-to-wing revenue process, sales forecasting, backlog health, and quarterly revenue execution. The S&OP Manager is the subject matter expert for demand planning, network optimization, and capacity planning while supporting various projects including monthly demand plans, consumption models, network and production strategy optimization, integration of new businesses, and new product launches. This person will be partnering with Commercial teams, Finance, Supply Chain and Installation Project Management to improve short and long-term forecast accuracy and drive improvements in revenue results by identifying opportunities and leading various projects.
- Lead the global production forecast for the business ensuring proper linkage of this plan to business revenue expectations, NPI projects, logistics plans, inventory targets, and fulfillment goals.
- Lead and execute the organization's sales and operations planning strategy, improve the systems, tools and capabilities within the organization pertaining to Sales and Operations Planning
- Provide guidance to the Operations team, Sales teams and Product teams to optimize inventory lead times and stock levels in alignment with OEM deliverables and quarterly sales demand.
- Provide advanced data analysis to detect inventory optimization and process improvement opportunities across the Supply Chain ranging from raw materials to revenue recognition.
- Partner with Finance, Sourcing, Fulfillment, Commercial and Manufacturing teams and drive compliance, broad based inventory initiatives and process excellence across the business.
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast result to optimize safety stocks without negatively affecting customer service levels.
- Support Lean initiatives by implementing Lean ideas and sharing best practices across the business and modalities.
- Manage the entire production life-cycle of translation projects and serve as the single point of accountability for their successful completion under strict deadlines and budgets.
- Review and analyze the forecast demand versus actual demand, understanding changes and trends.
- Perform quality checks at various stages to ensure accuracy and report quality issues to internal stakeholders.
- Work with inventory team to monitor inventory levels and replenish appropriate products to avoid excessive inventory, inventory shortages, and /or inventory inaccuracies.
- Develop project plans, budgets and schedules, managed resources and coordinated production teams.
- Create and drive continuous improvement of world-class demand planning and S&OP processes.
- Assist in the resolution of key supply-demand/service-cost issues.
- Source vendors globally, negotiate rates to meet margin goals, develop and suggest improved techniques for purchasing, establish long-term pricing agreements.
- Work with suppliers on strategic sourcing initiatives, including fulfillment, quality and cost savings.
- Supports and develops business relationships with suppliers and clients across all modalities.
Work Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Planning in an environment of both manufactured and sourced finished goods) and/or related supply chain management including design, implementation, and execution of S&OP related processes
- Experience working with inventory management software and forecasting strategies
- Experience conducting tracking and data analysis
- Experience with software packages including Microsoft Office, Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization, and ERP such as Oracle or similar.
- Track record of successfully identifying and implementing process changes
- Proficiency in Microsoft excel, and other programs such as Access and Tableau
- Proficiency with SAP software
- Strong communication skills: excellent oral and written and presentation skills
- Strong leadership skills. Ability to lead, contribute, and influence others in a team-based organization
- Excellent people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management or similar
- MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance or equivalent preferred
- Product and inventory management certification a plus
Physical Requirements
- Occasional lifting up to 25lbs and pushing/pulling up 55lbs.
- Predominately sitting (85%).
- The Target Pay Range for this position is $120,000-$130,000 annually. At Antech/Sound, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
