Full description of the position

  • Your most important job is to find, recruit, and onboard energy brokers
  • Researching potential leads and qualifying them for sales activity
  • Making prospecting phone calls
  • Prospecting through LinkedIn
  • Demoing the platform to energy brokers
  • Following up until paperwork is signed
  • Onboarding brokers and providing support until they're acclimated to the platform

Purpose of this role:

  • You will be in charge of increasing company revenue by adding quality energy brokers

Success Measurement

  • Number of monthly sold platform licenses
  • Energy revenue generated by your licensed brokers
  • Number of monthly prospects curated
  • Number of monthly demos given

Current Leadership Team

Hamed Babai, founder of Power Kiosk, received his PhD from Northwestern University in 2011 with a degree in Engineering. After working in the energy brokerage business, Hamed went off to build Power Kiosk from the ground up.

Steve Joung, Managing Principal, was the former co-founder and CEO of Chicago-based Pangea Properties (~$1B in assets). Prior to Pangea, Steve was Chief Operating Officer at Enova Financial (NYSE: ENVA) through its sale to Cash America International (NYSE: CSH) in 2008.
