Full description of the position

The Sales Engineering Support Specialist serves to improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability. Help oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific short-term projects (proposals, quotes, etc.) which has a beginning, an end, and specified deliverables. Contributes to positive relationships with new and existing customers, responsible for ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met throughout the entire sales process.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Will be supporting field sales engineers in the preparation of quotes for equipment to be installed at various client sites.
• Will be learning the business, as well as the engineering processes, manufacturing processes, and working with various internal/external teams.
• Provide oversight to projects to ensure quality standards are achieved consistently in accordance with the project hours, scope, and parameters and cost estimating.
• Help create proposals/drawings to Sales/Project Managers
• Help coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
• Cooperatively takes on other duties, roles or responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and up to 1 year of hands on engineering experience
• Should have a background in electrical controls.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
