Position could be employed/located in either Commerce City, CO or Salt Lake City, UT, dependent on qualified candidate.

Position Summary:

Facilitate the sales of used equipment and generate top line revenue.

Essential Functions:

• Proactively seeks sales of used equipment by making calls on brokers and dealers both within and outside of Honnen Equipment AOR, and retail buyers outside of Honnen Equipment AOR. Maintains customer and contact records via CRM system.
• Coordinates with Appraiser to ensure ERS listings are accurate, especially as they appear on the Honnen Equipment homepage internet listing. Frequently coordinates changes with Sales Administration Manager.
• Directly coordinates, produces, and edits all advertising lists and photos in Machinery Trader and other publications as arranged by Used Sales Manager.
• Reviews used equipment stock list on weekly basis to ensure accurate descriptions including maintenance of the notes section.
• Assist with used equipment yard display in coordination with Appraiser.
• Pursues new equipment sales out of AOR when possible in coordination with Regional Sales Manager.
• Occasionally makes face to face calls in the field for purposes of purchase orders or specific sales and product presentations.
• Works closely on a daily basis with the Used Sales Manager and branch personnel on all matters related to pricing, advertising, deals in process, contacts, and issues regarding used equipment sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Used Manager.

Other Functions:

Duties represent less than 5% of the job – duties marginally important to the job

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, preferred
• Two (2) years of experience in sales, equipment sales preferred.
• Three (3) additional years of experience in sales, large equipment industry required in lieu of Bachelor's degree.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, self-motivations and communication skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be fluent in verbal and written English, Spanish would be a plus
• Intermediate computer and application systems skills required.

Physical Effort:

Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.

Compensation:

Commission based position (will discuss in interview)
