POSITION: Account Manager/Business Development

COMPANY: Sherer & Associates

LOCATION: Charleston, SC

Sherer & Associates is looking to add an experienced Account Manager to our team! We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude and great communication skills. This person will be responsible for making connections with leads in relevant fields, attending networking events, and making presentations to potential clients. This is a hybrid role that allows for a combination of remote and in-office work and will require some travel within the state of South Carolina.

Responsibilities

1. Manage relationships with existing clients of Sherer & Associates

• Grow existing accounts
• Strategically network
• Develop and execute a plan to stay in contact with top clients

2. Develop new business opportunities

• Work alongside marketing outreach and sales team to sign new clients
• Attend networking events
• Make presentations to potential clients

3. Participate in project communication for assigned clients' projects

• Attend in-person and virtual meetings
• Attend site meetings during Design/Construction Documents

4. Develop and execute a Client Feedback System

5. Perform site visits during construction to take photos and progress notes for clients

6. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients with non-project-related issues and work with the assigned Project Manager to solve project-related issues

7. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives

• Make sure the client is happy and we are doing what we promised!

8. Identify, forecast, and track key metrics

9. Prepare and maintain reports on account status

Requirements

• Ability to travel to job sites and clients offices throughout the state of South Carolina
• Proven work experience as an Account Manager or relevant role
• Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively
• Experience with CRM software
• Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
• Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
• Excellent listening abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
