Now Hiring - Sunburst Shutters - Manufacturing General Sales Manager in San Marcos, CA

The General Manager will be responsible for sales and making sure installations are done correctly and on time. This person will be required to wear multiple hats during the day. Their main goal is to grow the business through sales and relationships.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Hires and trains new employees.
• Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Works directly with the owners for any discipline that needs to be enforced with employees.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Plans and organizes daily activities related to production and operations.
• Sells and closes appointments
• Looks for new ways to drive sales
• Takes care of, and works with, problem customers to find solutions
• Measures productivity by analyzing performance data
• Coordinates with marketing and sales departments to determine pricing, timing, and number of sales promotions, and products -to be sold.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent sales and time management skills
• Extensive knowledge of operations and production management.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Able to work with customers to find satisfactory solutions.

Education and Experience:

• No College degree education is necessary.
• Certification through the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) preferred.
• 3-5 years of window-covering related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of driving around San Diego to appointments.
• Must be able to help with installations, when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $65,000.00 to $100,000 per year depending on experience
