Sunland Specialty Insurance Group is an independent insurance agency seeking an Account Manager/Customer Service Representative. We are seeking someone with a strong background in commercial lines. This is a unique opportunity for someone to join our team who is flexible, resourceful, possesses technical knowledge and willingness to do what is necessary to get the job done!

This agency is fairly new but has an established book of business upon which to build. This position will allow for a variety of job responsibilities and promotes working as part of a team! Independent agency commercial technical experience and confidence is a must. Personal lines experience is a plus!

Salary Range: $60000.00 - $75000.00 per year

• Foster strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service while assisting with coverage questions, policy changes, and billing issues
• Use specific industry training and knowledge to determine coverage needs, identify account rounding/cross-selling opportunities, and maintain policy retention
• Assist in the marketing process of new and renewal business through online rating, negotiating with our carriers and preparing proposals
• Data entry and document management within agency management system (EPIC)
• Review for accuracy and process policies and endorsements

• Active Property & Casualty Agent/Producer License required
• 3-5 years Independent Agency Experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and other software applications such as PDF editing software, Docusign, Epay and Zoom
• Must be a self starter who is able to work independently but also as part of a team
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Proficient in Agency Management Software-EPIC a plus
• College degree preferred
