Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Upholds SmartBank Core Values and Core Purpose.
• Provide exceptional consultative sales experience to prospects and help protect clients by offering insurance and financial products that will meet their needs.
• Maintain product knowledge for all lines of business and products written.
• Establish collaborative relationship with prospective clients from various sources such as networking, cold calling, and referrals.
• Analyze clients’ current insurance policies and suggest additions or changes. Help customize insurance programs to suit individual needs.
• Develop marketing strategies to compete in local market.
• Partner with SmartBank lenders for referrals

Ideal candidates for the role will include:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Property & Casualty license preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills and self-driven
