Full description of the position

more efficient.

Responsibilities:

  • • Make a minimum of 200 outbound dials per day to set sales opportunity meetings with potential merchants.
  • Diligently work social media outlets and platforms to engage with currently clients as well as new prospective clients to create

new sales opportunities.

  • Mine through current data base of leads to set or re-set meetings with active leads and opportunities in our data base.
  • Qualify each potential client and meeting to be sure that the prospect meets our ideal company profile(s) and underwriting

criteria.

  • Collect qualifying pertinent sales data from candidates that meetings are set with such as monthly processing volume, number

of monthly transactions, average sales ticket, and total monthly processing fees, etc.

  • Ask for and attempt to retrieve a copy(s) of the merchant’s most recent merchant statement for sales to get merchants

approved for our wholesale rate program and also allow for a side-by-side comparison of rates and costs.

  • Send out via email, text, calendar invite, and by phone meeting confirmations.
  • Be sure that each client that is meeting with us meets minimum BDC meeting qualifying guidelines consisting of a minimum of:

They know who we are, why we are calling, which rep will meet with them, and to have a minimum of 10 minutes of their
undivided attention.

  • Meetings always have a minimum closing percentage of 8% or better.
  • BDR’s maintain an average of a 4.5 new meeting set per day average.
  • Assist with any requests that upper management requires for the department or your individual role.
  • Assist with confirming meetings as needed upon request by BDM.
  • Assist with Turning Over (TO) meeting opportunities to support BDR’s setting qualified meetings.
  • Assist BDM to coach and mentor other BDR’s through training and live coaching as needed.
  • Assist with daily reporting including master list, power up, and end of day reports.
  • Enter leads into IRIS and send out calendar invites for confirmed meetings upon request.
  • Operate and oversee the BDC in absence of the BDM and/or as needed.
  • Skills:
  • Previous business development experience required
  • Previous inside sales or phone sales experience required
  • Administrative experience preferred
  • AA Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Basic computer knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Office, Word, etc.)
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills
  • Detail and result orientated

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
