Full description of the position

Reliance Partners is one of the fastest-growing insurance agencies in the United States, and we are looking to add experienced Account Managers to our team who are ready to grow with us! The Account Manager will perform duties primarily related to the efficient and accurate maintenance and processing of customer accounts.

JOB SCOPE: This position requires employee to perform duties independently or with minimal supervision while operating from the established direction and instruction of the Senior Director of Customer Service, VP of Customer Service, and agency manual. Daily decisions, required by this position, are typically made by following general company policy, insurance contract requirements, company underwriting guidelines, insurance laws (State or Federal), as well as independent decision making or judgment.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES: The Account Manager is responsible for assisting clients, producers, and supervisors of Reliance
Partners in daily office functions related to maintenance and processing of customer accounts. In addition to administrative support, performs daily duties listed below.
  • Follow company designated protocols for the Customer Service Team including processing of changes, certificates, and
other client service-related services
  • Professional account servicing functions related to clients, producers, brokers, carriers, policies, finance companies,
accounting and claims information through the agency management system (AMS) Applied EPIC.
  • Documenting each insured file with accurate information in compliance with agency standards, company requirements,
and insurance laws (State or Federal)
  • Maintain records of communication with clients, vendors, producers, insurance markets pertaining to client’s account
through AMS
  • Follow up with the carrier/broker on issued new policy. Verify accuracy of the policy issued and information in EPIC
  • Manage standard company workflows and procedures through AMS dashboard including activities and tasks daily
  • Review A/R reporting throughout each quarter to ensure outstanding balances >30 aged are corrected or collected as
needed
  • Assist producers, account managers and supervisors with workflow items, voicemails, emails, and online systems CSR24
  • Obtain various reports to gather claim specific data for analysis or reporting
  • Any additional information necessary to provide exceptional service to the client, sales, brokers, companies
  • Endorsement Processing; including but not limited to:
o Quoting endorsements to a policy- any endorsement that generates premium (+/-).
o Providing quote to client and/or producer
o Binder billing in Applied EPIC for endorsements
o Collection/Return of premium related to endorsements
o Update Premium Finance Agreement- if applicable with (+/-) endorsements
  • Mentoring to assist in the development and training of Account Managers and Customer Service Representative assigned
deadlines for special requests and projects at the Supervisor’s request
  • Complete continuing education training as required to maintain P&C Insurance license
  • Adhere to agency attendance policy
  • Ensure that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ years of experience in commercial lines as a customer service representative or account manager
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication and people management skills
  • You have strong knowledge of insurance account management
  • You have experience with Agency Management System such as Applied Systems TAM or EPIC
  • You have experience in transportation and logistics industry is ideal, but not required
  • You have intermediate computer skills in order to learn the various company programs
  • You have great collaboration and teamwork skills

REQUIRED LICENSING
Active resident state Commercial Property & Casualty insurance license

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position is not a supervisory position in nature
