Responsibilities:
Position Summary
We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team. This individual will retain and service existing or assigned accounts through effective customer relationship management. You will maintain current accounts and customer relations; educate current and prospective customers on products and generate profitable sales. In addition, this individual will also support Senior Account manager’s general account management functions. The opportunity provides career advancement into Account Manager for driven and successful candidates.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate sales by developing new and exisiting accounts
  • Advise customers on products and materials that best suits their needs
  • Work closely with Account Mangers to close new business opportunities
  • Capture all relevant opportunities, risks, and maintain account activity in CRM
  • Meet assigned targets for sales volume, revenue, profitability, and strategic objectives for assigned accounts
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including technical support & services, R&D and management resources in order to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Complete reports in a timely manner
  • Participate in special projects to support Sales team as needed
  • Maintain professional business relationships with assigned accounts
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree in related field or equivalent
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in sales, preferably manufacturing and solution selling based
  • Background in the Polyurethane Foam or Automotive OEM / Tier I, Medical, Consumer
  • In-depth manufacturing experience and/or engineering background is a plus
  • A high level of organizational skills and the ability to work remotely and independently
  • Strong customer relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) are essential, along with attention to detail
  • Must possess proficient computer skills and be capable in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Positive attitude and comfortable cold calling accounts
  • Strong cross-functional team skills
  • Some travel required
