Orbian Supply Chain Finance Sales and Marketing Manager (Western Hemisphere)
We are seeking a results-driven individual that will meet and exceed the achievement of SCF program milestones to develop new business and further develop existing business across the Orbian portfolio, which includes Orbian Supply Chain Finance and Orbian Card Services. The Supply Chain Finance Sales and Marketing Manager will be expected to operate autonomously while being strong in a team environment with excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Candidates are local and will be required to work from our Carlsbad CA offices. The salary offered will ultimately depend on experience.
Responsibilities include:
Program Sales Support & Supplier Engagement
- Responsible for the ramp up of new programs and continued viability and growth of existing programs
- Drive revenue generation through supplier engagement and enrollment in line with client marketing strategy for both new and existing programs
- Ability to present the value proposition to drive supplier adoption of the program
- Coordinate supplier marketing and sales to adapt campaigns to grow pipeline and improve the close ratio
Ongoing Program Management
- Develop and maintain program-specific account plans/dashboards and support annual review engagements
- Expand Orbian footprint with existing accounts (e.g., business units, geographies, expanded solutions offering - such as Orbian Card Services)
- Manage relationships and serve as the primary point of contact internally and externally to handle day-to-day communication with clients
- Facilitate requests and inquiries across workflows internally and externally (including partners located in other countries/regions)
- Identify challenges and/or issues and escalate to Orbian management and/or Buyer management
Marketing
- Utilize market segmentation methods and analysis to create effective targeting and positioning strategies
- Lead generation activities for specific segments which include attending industry events and trade shows, joining sales calls with prospect or existing customers, market analysis and research
- Industry-leading knowledge of end-to-end pipeline coverage
- Manage campaigns, segment plans, KPI reporting via Salesforce for senior management
- Growth framework mindset: customer acquisition, cross-sell, retention, growth
- Strategic program planning – work with performance marketing on optimizing engagement strategies, inbound and outbound tactics to progress the funnel and win the deal
Requirements:
- 3-7 years of relevant marketing experience with some sales experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or other related degree strongly preferred.
- Experience in financial services, business, or ecommerce strongly preferred
- Experience building & executing impactful, innovative, and multidimensional integrated marketing campaigns outside of internet and social media spaces
- Experience producing content and creative collateral
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven end-to-end project management with the ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of professionalism and flexibility - equally comfortable working independently and in a team environment
- Hands-on experience with day-to-day workflow and project management tools (Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, etc.
