We are looking for a talented Regional Sales Specialist to join our team!

Total compensation includes salary commensurate with industry experience along with monthly commissions and performance-based bonus opportunities.

How you will help us on our mission and inspire others:

  • Drive occupancy, achieving sales goals and expectations for each assignment.
  • Work on-location at assigned community providing direct selling and sales support for inquiries, follow-ups and appointments.
  • Collaborate with each community team and Executive Directory to elevate sales results and create urgency with the sales and move-in process.
  • Participate in the creation of strategic planning, facilitation and follow up for all events and tactics to achieve sales objectives.
  • Able to quickly assess what is needed on each assignment by interpreting data, sales trends, traffic, and conversion ratios to implement a plan for success.
  • Coach and train team members at assigned community on red carpet experience for move-ins and sales culture while ensuring company policies are being followed.
  • Communicate closely with Regional Director of Sales, Regional Director of Operations and Vice President of Sales to assess the strengths and opportunities of each community, create an action plan and work together to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Observe and participate in activities to drive community outreach activities. This includes targeted networking and external business development, increasing the effectiveness of resident, team and professional referral programs.
  • Become an expert in utilizing the CRM, ensuring that the community team is fully bought into the expectations of data integrity and CRM usage.
  • Provide oversight of sales reporting for each community to ensure accurate and consistent reporting in conjunction with the community sales team.
  • Mentor peers to drive sales performance and occupancy.
  • Able to read each unique competitive market and tailor a sales process approach that speaks to diverse customer demographics, providing input for innovative sales programs and strategies.
  • Provide a summary of outcomes and detailed plan for continued growth upon completion of assignment.

Our top candidate has the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Must demonstrate empathy and compassion to connect with all customers.
  • 3+ years of work experience with direct 1:1 community sales experience in senior living with an emphasis on team collaboration, training, customer service, and innovative lead generation strategies are required.
  • Ability to identify and motivate individuals to meet the desired brand standards.
  • Self-driven with high autonomy for developed organizational skills and consistency with detailed project and work documentation.
  • Strong verbal presentation skills required, including the ability to present information one-on-one or to large groups.
  • Must have a flexible schedule with availability for extensive overnight travel.
  • Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written direction in the English language at a level adequate to perform the job duties.
  • Excellent skills in computer-based software and applications for capturing data, in addition to knowledge of CRM’s. Microsoft Word, Excel, email and Internet functions.
  • Skills in independent, timely decision making and problem solving are necessary in certain outreach situations, and excellent judgment is required to determine when independent decision making is appropriate.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile to accomplish daily job assignments.
  • Must be within 3 hours of Chicago.
