Are you an experienced outside sales representative or a former trailer technician that is ready to get out of wrenching and into a role where you can use your years of expertise in a parts sales role with unlimited earning potential?! Look no further...

Transport Services is looking for team-oriented Outside Sales Reps to join our Cleveland branch! You must be 21 or older with a clean driving record to qualify.

Hourly Base Pay Plus Monthly Commission Based on Sales

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Sign on bonus: $1,000 after 90 days of continuous employment and $2,000 after 1 year of continuous employment

Transport Services is seeking a successful professional with industry experience to add to our already outstanding sales force.

A SUCCESSFUL SALES REPRESENTATIVE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:

THE COMPANY

  • Researching new sales prospects and engaging/developing them in order to grow his/her book of business.
  • Maintaining regular appointments for face-to-face meetings with existing customers to stimulate sales and tend to any open issues
  • Managing customer relationships to a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Eagerly and thoroughly learning our products and services to sell them most effectively.
  • Building relationships with each customer and prospect to optimize the service provided to their account.
  • Studying and understanding market conditions and the relative strengths and weaknesses of competitors’ products, services, policies, tendencies, pricing, etc.
  • Organizing business plans to consistently meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales goals.
  • Promoting the sale of all product lines.
  • Obtaining referrals for himself/herself, as well as for other sales colleagues.
  • Obtaining accurate information required to prepare written quotations or orders.
  • Working with business partners like suppliers, as well as internal resources like Parts Operations personnel, Accounting and Management to facilitate orders.
  • Disciplined post-sale customer follow up to ensure we’ve met or exceeded customer expectation.
  • Delivering parts to his/her customers.
  • Proactively reporting the progress of open opportunities and activity to management through our CRM database and bi-weekly Sales meetings.
  • Promoting and contributing to a working atmosphere across all divisions that results in maintaining strong cooperation, efficiency, and teamwork.

REQUIREMENTS OF A SALES REPRESENTATIVE:

  • Solid base of knowledge and experience with truck and semi-trailer parts.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A natural ambition to continuously increase sales from both new and existing customers.
  • The discipline to use business processes to achieve desired results.
  • A valid driver's license and driving record in good standing.
  • Willing to travel daily within his/her territory of Northern Ohio.
  • Knowledge of the transportation equipment industry is a plus.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
