We're looking for a reliable Insurance Agent to perform tasks that will help us monitor our risks. Insurance experience is preferred, but a candidate with the right attitude and work ethic, we would consider training and paying to get licensed. You will be responsible for coordinating and servicing insurance policies and contracts on behalf of our clients and the organization. As an insurance agent, you'll play an important role in our company, as the safety of our customers is our top priority. The ideal candidate should be interested in helping people manage risk. Your job will be to review insurance coverage proposals and assist clients with claims, policy changes, or billing issues. Since you will be using technology to expedite your work, a degree of computer knowledge is required. Ultimately, the Insurance Agent’s duties are to gain new business for the company by cross-selling other financial products, while being responsive and trustworthy in handling client details. Base salary, bonus, and commissions given.

Responsibilities:

• Enter new clients into the system and add information to their profiles (e.g. contact info, account info, personal details etc.).
• Perform email and text responses.
• Contact existing clients to renew their policies and sell additional products.
• Answer queries via email, phone or social media.
• Respond to policyholder claims and assist in claim investigation process.
• Research claim details and verify that all necessary information is available.
• Establish new relationships with existing third-party insurance vendors.
• Deliver support to customers experiencing issues with the website or call center in a timely manner.
• Suggest new products that can be sold to existing clients or attract new clients.
• Maintain current documents including policies, binders, contracts etc. using various software tools (e.g. Word, Excel etc.).
• Provide first-level problem resolution to customers through online chat and over the phone.
• Perform other tasks like marketing campaigns and social media management according to given instructions.

Pay: $47,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
