Scope of Position
The EV Sales Coordinator (EVSC) will assist EV-first Business Development Originators with RFP review, proposal preparation, and contract start up throughout the sales cycle. The EVSC will field and screen inbound EVSE leads. The EVSC will also coordinate and maintain incoming formal RFIs/RFQs/RFPs and coordinate PowerFlex’s response to them. The EVSC will create prospect proposals and other sales deliverables through coordination with other PowerFlex teams. This role is on the Business Development team and works closely with the Origination, Engineering, Legal, and Execution Teams. The role reports to the Associate Director, Turnkey EV Solutions.
Responsibilities
50% EV-1st Business Development Originator Support
- Manage EV contract initiation through collaboration with business development, development engineering, and legal teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support proposal development and client response
- Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes, sales tracking and reporting, and sales materials
- Maintain strong data accuracy in Agiloft, Salesforce and ClickUp
30% Formal RFI/RFQ/RFP Coordination
- Develop and maintain PowerFlex EV Sales registrations with RFI/RFP sourcing platforms
- Support development and continuous improvement of RFI/RFP intake, evaluation and response procedures and processes
- Support development and continuous improvement of RFI/RFP response materials repository
- Coordinate and support RFI/RFP intake, evaluation, go-no-go decisions, response / proposal preparation and submittal
20% Receive, screen and process inbound sales leads
- Field and screen inbound sales inquiries (calls and emails), including initial customer qualification presentations and discussions
- Process inbound leads into Turnkey team and sales support systems
Qualifications
Education/Experience-
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Energy or other similar fields or relevant experience
- 1+ years of experience in sales, project coordination or similar professional positions
- Relevant work in the EV charging or renewable energy industry a plus
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities-
- Basic understanding of contract structures
- Basic understanding of federal and local state EVSE policies and incentives
- Basic understanding of RFI/RFP structures
- Strong work ethic and clear communicator
- Organizational skills and ability to create structure and order
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and participate on cross-functional teams to complete complex projects
- Strong time management skills in an environment of frequently changing deadlines
- Client-facing skills and comfort working with external stakeholders
- Requires little to no supervision to perform tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and ClickUp preferred
The annual compensation estimate for this role is within the range of $49,331 - $82,219 + the possibility of an additional 35% in incentives. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, business needs, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
