About This Position

Responsibilities

• Assists Business Development Managers in planning and scheduling of trade shows via market analysis to determine market trends, size, customer needs and competitive markets.
• Conducts trade show related research into trade associations, trade publications, profile of attendees and exhibitors, existing related business activity and opportunities for sponsorships and co-marketing.
• Works with Marketing team to develop event-related collateral, including but not limited to pre-event marketing collateral, sales materials, client/customer facing messaging via social media and press releases.
• Coordinates all staff travel logistics, room blocks and show registration.
• Coordinates packing and logistics for all trade show materials (booth, collateral, etc.)
• Manages trade show data, leads, and lists including invitation lists, guest lists, etc.
• Assists in planning and tracking of trade show budgets.
• Assists with after show analysis including surveys, recaps, booth location, recommendations for improvement, tradeshow ROI, submitting of invoices to accounting and supporting reconciliation of event-related budgets.
• Coordinates Business Development Manager customer site visits including appointment confirmations, lead entry and follow-up.
• Coordinates Vendor and Distributor visits for equipment review and sales training.
• Occasional travel required to support trade show booth staffing.
• Other duties assigned.

Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communication preferred.
