The Marketing Representative is responsible for providing direction to the promotion of ATP titles. The ideal candidate is someone who can plan, manage, and execute marketing efforts that results in successful promotion and support of ATP. This employee is someone who can determine the most effective ways to attract and engage prospects while also providing timely solutions to current customers.
Job Duties:
- Develop, initiate, and manage marketing plans and campaigns
- Respond to customer inquiries of ATP products and resources
- Develop relationships with key customers to maintain/increase customer retention
- Research and present new marketing ideas to drive ATP sales growth
- Conduct onboarding activities for instructors to assure high customer satisfaction
- Analyze competitor’s products and identify differentiation that would increase ATP sales
- Track ROI of marketing efforts based on data and analytics
- Review and qualify inbound requests for product samples
- Other related duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities:
- High level of interpersonal skills to effectively work with others
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient with CRM systems and digital marketing platforms
- Possess the ability to articulate technical concepts in easy-to-understand terms for our customers
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Proficient with Microsoft® (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). HubSpot is a plus.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment
- Desire to learn, grow and build something new within an organization with over 120 years of publishing experience
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with tasks executed on a networked computer workstation. May be required to work extra hours and weekends as needed.
- Travel is required
Education/Training/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years in trade show marketing, sales, or business administration, and/or related field
- Previous trade show attendance
- Marketing and/or sales experience in educational publishing preferred
