Position Overview:
The Sr. Inside Sales (Skilled Trades) Manager plays a central and key role to ensure HomeServe USA effectively recruits and onboards sub-contractors across the U.S. and Canada that are capable of delivering 24/7 emergency service for our customer’s home repairs. The primary responsibilities include oversight of the recruitment and onboarding process with a focus on efficiency and removing friction points, prioritizing recruitment and onboarding efforts, forecasting future recruitment needs and reporting results. The Sr. Manager of Contractor Recruitment and Onboarding must become familiar with HomeServe’s service level agreements and design optimal criteria for identifying prospective contractors to deliver quality and comprehensive plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance emergency services.
Additionally, the Sr. Manager will effectively manage any gaps in area network coverage, provide coaching and feedback to the team and work closely with other departments to manage the sub-contractor needs of the business.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance training curriculum for the recruitment team with a focus on performance, efficiency and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development to Supervisors and staff including, but not limited to training, quality monitoring, and performance management.
- Provide oversight to ensure Recruitment and Onboarding Specialists utilize all systems, tools, and reports to achieve their monthly recruitment and onboarding targets.
- Ensure that all Recruitment and Onboarding Specialists are meeting business needs and to work with their Supervisors to provide action plans for those that fall below expectations.
- Develop procedures to improve the efficiency and results of contractor recruiting and onboarding.
- Establish and lead the team in highly effective recruitment and onboarding techniques, processes and methodologies.
- Build solid business relationships with new sub-contractors and the Regional Operations Manager team with every interaction.
- Ensure that the Recruitment and Onboarding team is proactively communicating with all internal customers.
- Perform quality control measures to verify proper recruiting and onboarding techniques are being followed in accordance with business expectations.
- Produce and present monthly recruitment and onboarding performance reports which highlight progress against monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
- Monitor market changes that may affect HomeServe’s business and industry.
- Manage additional projects and other duties as required.
Skills & Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Associate Degree or Vocational/Trade school certificate (BA/BS preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years managerial experience.
- Background and understanding of plumbing/heating electrical or similar trade.
- Prior work history supervising sales and telemarketing professionals.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Strong independent problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Self-driven and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization including the executive level.

Salary Range: $88,799.00 - $118,398.5
Bonus Potential: 10%
