Job Description
With the continued growth of Kaseya and our Sales Organization, we are seeking a Sales Trainer & Auditor to join our Kaseya team in Miami. As a Sales Trainer & Auditor, you will be responsible for partnering with Sales leadership to monitor Sales performance for every individual and create customized learning plans to address deficiencies – both to address individual development as well as macro trends where training is required across the entire Sales org to address problematic trends or new developments. The successful candidate will have technical aptitude and fluency, experience developing/presenting instructional materials, and can easily work with both technical and non-technical audiences. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal sales performance – training on our products and services, the markets we serve, as well as on sales best practices.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Proactively monitor Sales Performance of every individual globally, both through review of performance KPI’s, as well as auditing of their calls – produce learning plans both at the individual level as well as at the global team level. Execute on this training to drive performance improvements
  • Audit sales activity – identify process issues as well as skill gaps. Work with management to take corrective action.
  • Implement an on-going certification program to ensure learning continues beyond new hire training for our Sales team and we validate their progress through rigorous certification programs
  • Work closely with subject matter experts and with our internal partners to develop engaging, high-quality learning content and instructional materials to aid learning of Kaseya products and services, as well as the markets we serve
  • Employ a variety of blended-learning tool and utilize widely accepted instructional design practices focusing on adult learning principles and methodologies
  • Maintain existing learning content to align with product offerings.
  • Assist in the organization and presentation of online training materials in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Build and maintain technical skill set with regard to Kaseya products, services, and other deliverables to ensure the ability to appropriately convey instructional material to tech audiences.
  • Conduct research, as needed, to develop instructional content for new products.
  • Build valid and reliable assessments to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training.
  • Partner with leadership to continually assess and strategically plan for the learning needs of our organization
  • Develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of online resources, in conjunction with the sales leadership team.
  • Develop continuous sales training programs, including call coaching, role play initiatives, creating sales processes, lead generation and referrals, prospecting, closing, etc.
  • Stay up to date with current processes, programs, and sales initiatives to effectively model and coach new and current salespeople. This includes learning the features, advantages, and benefits of company programs and how they impact the customer’s needs.
  • Travel 10% of position
Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven experience designing and delivering training
  • A technical background is highly desired, preferably delivering training for an IT firm
  • Experience delivering Sales training, establishing a sales mindset for all employees – understanding the product and markets
  • Experience conceptualizing technical/functional information and transforming it into practical and usable knowledge content in which use cases are employed to relate concepts to specific audiences.
  • LMS experience – both managing and developing course content
  • Highly organized with a proven attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and content creation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS or MA degree in an IT related field, an educational field / instructional design, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with IT management related applications
  • Experience with e-learning authoring software and LMS systems
  • A track record of writing compelling, concise content that simplifies complex topics.
  • Ability to self-direct, self-edit, multi-task, prioritize assignments, and manage projects.
  • An understating of adult-learning principles a plus.
