In support of the Mission, Vision and Values of SyBridge Technologies, the Sales Account Manager is responsible creating and executing sales strategies to sell company products and services to current and potential customers within the Sales department for SyBridge Technologies. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Sales Account Manager ensures quality is a priority each and every time while also achieving deadlines and customer satisfaction.
On a daily basis:
- Manage your accounts / customers through new business opportunities as they are required
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
- Develop a good working knowledge of customer’s standards and expectations to properly line up internal staff in order to close the sale
- Work closely with Program Managers as a team on customer accounts
- Ensure all paperwork is correct, verifying that Purchase Orders and quotation are correct and match so we are collecting money as per the Purchase Order
- Understand and be able to present the company as a global provider to new clients while maintaining a firm knowledge of each locations capability
- Assure product design meets internal/external specifications
- Liaison with customer purchasing and engineering
Regularly:
- Communicate new product launches and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
- Provide feedback to Operations on what customers require for the purpose of continuous improvement
- Follow-up for collection of payment
- Research and develop a strong relationship with your customer from top to bottom, entertain when value added to win work.
Occasionally:
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events
- Travel as needed both domestic and out of country.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent is required
- 3-5 years or more of sales experience in the mold making/plastic injection industry
- Mechanical Design experience is an asset as well as knowledge with CAD
- Understand customer quality/ manufacturing/ engineering methods and practices
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Company travel is required approximately 4 days each week.
- Maintains safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Possess and understanding of all company procedures in order to do business with the customer
- Possess and understanding of all technical advancements occurring on the shop floor and upcoming improvements as well
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Written and oral communication skills
- Possess negotiating skills
- Ability to work within tight deadlines in a fast paced, high expectations environment
- Fluency in Spanish is an asset
- Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Participate in required meetings and training.
