Job Description:

• B&M Auto Sales & Parts Counter Sales Representative will understand customer requirements, and promote sales. In this position you will secure orders and arrange delivery or pick up of products. You will deliver exceptional customer service to our customers.

Automotive Parts Counter Sales Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual preferred
• Strong automotive background
• Prior experience in sales as well as the retail industry and/or automotive industry
• Able to process cash, checks, and credit card transactions
• Able to use a variety of computer software, internet proficiency, and general mathematic skills
• Valid driver license and/or reliable transportation
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Attention to detail, the ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment

Automotive Parts Counter Sales Duties:

• Answering phone calls
• Providing price quotes and other information via telephone, in person, and through email.
• Securing sales and following up on quotes
• Retail counter sales with walk-in customers
• Develop relationship with customer base
• Performs general cleaning and minor maintenance of office space
• Other duties as assigned

Automotive Parts Counter Sales Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Retrieve parts from Warehouse
• Help load customer purchases into vehicles
• Sweeping, mopping, and other basic cleaning duties
• Standing and sitting for extended periods

Working Conditions:

• Automotive office environment
• Sitting or standing at personal counter/desk space
• Use of computer and telephone headset
