CULINAIRE is the new Food and Beverage Management company at the exciting expansion project at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Art. CULINAIRE is thrilled to join this magnificent team at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Art, and just as thrilled to have you join our Team as the Catering Sales Manager. The newly renovated Museum will include an amazing new restaurant concept and features state-of-the-art, breath-taking event space so it is the talk of the town!

The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts is the oldest and largest cultural institution of its kind in the state with a scheduled reopening on Saturday, April 22.

Please join us for our grand opening job fairs at the museum restaurant February 15 and 16, and February 22 and 23 from 9a-5p. We will be interviewing and hiring for all positions!

Responsibilities:

• Responding to customer inquiries and developing customers independently in both the social and corporate markets
• Building local client base through sales calls, prospecting, direct mail, networking, referrals
• Meeting weekly quota for outside sales calls
• Closing the sale and meeting monthly booking goals
• Ensuring successful events that meet both the clients’ needs and the company’s profitability goals
• Communicating all relevant information to appropriate departments in a detailed manner
• Managing all events from initial sale through successful completion

What we are looking for:

• Catering sales and event planning experience in an upscale hotel, country club, catering venue or restaurant
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Strict attention to detail
• Experience with menu development, event coordination, event order origination and food concepts
• Ability to work weekends and evenings when events are held
