About This Role
As a Customer Account Manager, you will support both Lumio’s customers and sales representatives. You will reduce customer and employee effort by proactively addressing roadblocks holding up projects while keeping the customer and sales representatives informed at all times. You will leverage solar knowledge, training, and tools to resolve issues and answer questions professionally and promptly. As a subject matter expert, you will instruct your customers on the next steps in their solar project and build value in their solar investment through customer education opportunities. Upon achieving performance and tenure milestones, you will be delegated a portfolio of customer projects to ensure they receive permission to operate in a timely manner with as little customer effort as possible.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Stay up to date with department training ensuring subject matter expertise needed to drive project progression and troubleshoot system issues
  • Actively manage a portfolio of customer projects, ensuring minimal friction to the customer as the job progresses from sale to permission to operate
  • Have a deep understanding the operational flow of customer projects in order to proactively call out and prevent issues prior to their occurrence
  • Clearly articulate expectations and project status with customers or Sales Reps to avoid miscommunication and delays
  • Use data to understand roadblocks and creatively solve problems with your team
  • Develop a reputation for caring about the customer journey and the work that went into earning the right to serve this customer
  • Coordinate with Technicians on making sure every job is completed
  • Ensure photos are being taken correctly
  • Ensure stickers are being picked up and distributed to the correct homes.
  • Coordinate with homeowners and sales reps to ensure all documentation is completed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Must have weekend availability
  • Ability to multitask
  • Desire to help customers and solve problems (action-oriented mindset)
  • Thrive in a collaborative team environment balanced with ownership of your personal results
  • Solar experience is a plus but not required
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects
