Ecosouth Services is a growing company within the waste and recycling industry. We are looking to expand our sales team and have a need for a customer focused, Territory Manager located within the Mobile, Alabama area. If you have uncompromising integrity, competitive and love to win, this may be the opportunity for you.
This position will be responsible for developing new business in both the Commercial and Industrial lines of business, as well as the retention of an existing book of business. The successful candidate will prospect, develop sales presentations and proposals, and grow the revenue within the assigned area.

Territory Manager Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
- Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching, and analyzing sales options.
- Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
- Sells products or services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects.
- Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements in accordance with company policy.
- Interacts and works cohesively with other sales team members.
- Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
- Remains current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
- Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
- Assists finance team in collecting receivables within contracted time.
- Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Achieves or exceeds budgeted revenue goals for new business with industrial customers in assigned sales territory.
- Attends team sales meetings and training classes as deemed appropriate; Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Territory Manager Abilities / Skills:

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other related software.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a concentration in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR
- At least Three (3) years of industry sales experience
- Waste Industry Experience Preferred but not required.
Special Considerations/Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Properly licensed with ability to drive a motor vehicle extensively within a defined sales area/territory.
- Must be willing to travel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $46,000.00 per year
