WHO IS THE SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST

The Sales Support Specialist contributes to Regal’s mission of excellence by being able to continue to grow dealer relationships as well as assist with all aspects of the sales department. The ideal candidate would be willing to work alongside the sales reps in the field as well as the managers at the factory. Would be energetic and comfortable with speaking directly to customers and dealers face to face at the factory for tours, at dealerships and at boat shows nationwide. This individual should have a passion for boating and basic on water skills would be highly preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Run internal market reports as requested by reps

• Assist in boat shows- set up, sales, break down

• Travel when needed for sales support

• Factory tours

• Factory showroom

• Help with photo shoots as needed

• Become an expert in the Regal boat line up

• Drive / Tow boats as necessary

• Willing to work weekends

MUST HAVES

• Familiar with boat operation, large boats a bonus

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales or boating environment

• Well versed in Microsoft Office suit & Google documents

• Some sales experience preferred - 2 years

• Familiar with travel & reservations a bonus

• Ability to multi task and focus on multiple business objectives

• Comfortable with speaking to new prospects & relational sales

• Good communication skills

• Self motivated and able to work independently to achieve sales goals and meet dealer expectations
