The Sales Learning & Development Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible the business acumen and sales tools ownership learning process for North America and Canada, thereby resulting in better sales processes and outcomes. This learning and development professional will utilize adult learning, analytical and operational expertise and partner with sales leadership to drive strategic goals.

This position is part of the North American Marketing and Sales Operations department and is fully remote in the United States. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the North America Commercial Organization, Sales Learning and Development team and report to the Senior Manager, Sales Learning and Development responsible for all learning and development of our North American Commercial Organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support the planning, creation, implementation and management of business tools and acumen educational applications workshops
  • Support process improvements in the current Learning and Development Roadmaps
  • Identify needs and gaps for business acumen skills improvement
  • Support the team in executing an operationally-sound learning and development strategy
  • Manage to objectives and KPIs around continuous training and development, including the onboarding appraisal process and stakeholder management
  • Play a key role in cross-functional POD meetings reinforcing sales training functions
  • Identify and evaluate various training modalities and strategies to stay current with industry trends and best in class processes

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 9+ years’ experience with a bachelor’s or 7+ years’ experience with a master’s degree.
  • 5 or more years of related sales and business training experience.
  • Clear understanding and/or application knowledge of CRM’s; preferably with SFDC.
  • Clear understanding and/or application knowledge of LMS, preferably Cornerstone
  • Experience managing projects at all phases
  • Ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Field sales experience, within the diagnostics or medical device industry
  • Incentive compensation, field reporting, customer segmentation, and business planning
  • Liaison between sales, service, marketing, IT, Commercial Operations
  • Knowledge of reporting and data analytics tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Business objects
  • Collaboration and vendor management
