Competitive Metals is Hiring for Outside Sales

Competitive Metals is looking for an energetic, driven, and ambitious, outside salesperson who is motivated to sell and build successful relationships with existing and new customers. As an ambassador of our company, you will become a trusted face to our customers and asset to our growing team!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Engaging existing customers and presenting solutions to address their needs on a regular basis
• Overseeing all account activity in sales territory
• Prospecting and developing new accounts
• Updating and maintaining customer information in accounting system
• Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations to customers to demonstrate knowledge of industry and products
• Submit reports on your sales activity and achievements
• Making suggestions for adding new inventory or services items
• Identify opportunities to improve sales performance
• Monitor market conditions in relation to competitors
• Effectively and efficiently managing your time and covering your territories
• Looking after current accounts for consistency with buying trends, history, and pricing
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
• Maintain the integrity and perception of the company and brand to the highest level with a positive and proud attitude

Qualifications:

• Prior outside sales experience is required
• Prior experience in the metal industry is preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
• Must be driven and willing to do what it takes for our customers

• Ability to stay organized, plan, and effectively prioritize
• Must be comfortable presenting to and approaching new customers
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must live in San Diego County
• Must have safe and professional form of transportation

Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
