POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional Sales Director provides leadership for the local sales team. The primary responsibility is to achieve hardware and software revenue and gross margin, maintain sales professional headcount, and meet operational objectives. Live into Lineage’s Purpose, Mission and Core Values.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with all company departments supporting desired performance and teamwork.
- Achieve company sales targets including revenue, gross margin, net income, hardware, software and outsourcing contribution.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and manage to them.
- Effectively manage/own key success factors for profitable growth including: Top 12 vertical, major account initiative, cross selling into current customer, competitive account acquisitions, and effective lease portfolio management.
- Conduct monthly action plans (MAP’s) and weekly Sales Professional reviews (RAP’s) to ensure KPIs and goals are met.
- Lead Sales Professionals by evaluating performance, training, coaching, and encouraging.
- Assist the Sales Professionals on an as needed basis with proposals and customer demonstrations.
- Ensure Sales Professionals are providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Manage CRM platform/processes consistent with company guidelines.
- Identify and communicate key growth opportunities to corporate office.
- Be an expert on the complete the Lineage value proposition: mailing, document handling, shipping/tracking, addressing, software, document process flow.
- Develop sales roles and sales territories in collaboration with the Vice President of Sales.
- Ensure that all Lineage policies and procedures are followed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Active Driver’s License.
- Proven (5 year+) track record managing a direct sales organization.
- Leadership experience in organization of similar size.
- Demonstrate the ability to drive sales.
- Experience in managing a P&L.
- Proficient in SalesForce preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to navigate all levels from strategic to tactical execution.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position has supervisory responsibilities.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
- This position is in a professional office environment as well as in the field at customer sites.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- This is largely a sedentary position.
- This position would require some lifting (up to 75lbs).
- Filing, bending, standing, reaching with hands/arms, etc. as necessary.
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to speak and hear.
TRAVEL:
This position does not require regional travel. Could attend company trainings.
