A large Multinational Architectural Design firm is looking for a Regional VP of Architect. This Architect must have the following experience,
* Architectural and Design Education, Bachelors, Masters
* Must be an Architect. Must have experience in MEP Engineering
* Certifications LEEDS. P.A. Plus
* Multi-Family, High-Rise, Industrial, Logistics previous architectural design experience
* Relationships with Developers, Owner Reps, Construction Companies etc..
* Supervise a team of 20 Architect and Revit/Cad Architects and Engineers.
* Manage the Coral Gables office and all staff and report to Managing Director.
* Position is more Business Development and client communication on project while directing product from staff.

Summary of the Goals for this POSITION
Lead and supervise the Architectural Design of the projects assigned to this position. Ensure compliance with all applicable code and legal requirements. Sign and seal those designs as Architect of Record and qualify the company to offer and produce any architectural service. Manage any requirement from governmental agencies, customers, the company, or other entity to ensure that the designs meet the required legal standards. The projects must fulfill the client and corporate goals of maintaining the project on schedule and within budget, as well as remain within the scope of the project, to achieve profitability, while ensuring the quality standards at each of the phases of the design process (planning, execution, monitoring and control, closing). The corporate goals will be established by the Managing Director.
Formulate and lead the strategy and operations of the region to achieve growth. Senior Architect must take into account the directives given by the Company and the profit margins established by the company for the region. This position is also responsible for participating in certain strategy and commercial decisions of the Company.
3. DESCRIPTION OF ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
A. - Lead and supervise the Architectural Design of the projects assigned to this position. Coordinate the architectural and engineering designs according to the information received from the client. Senior Architect is expected to plan and execute the designs for all projects assigned to this position.
· Define, review, and lead in the execution of the Architectural Designs assigned to this position. Coordinate the Architectural designs with the Engineering Designs and client disciplines. Responsible to ensure all legal and code requirements are met and maximize the quality of the final product according to industry standards. Sign and Seal all projects as Architect of Record.
· Serve as the qualifying architect for the Company subject to the licensure and requirements of the Florida Statutes. All final drawings, specifications, plans, reports, or documents involving architectural practices which are prepared or approved for the use of the Company or for public record within the State of Florida shall be dated and shall bear the signature and seal of the licensee who prepared or approved them.
· Review and oversee the integration and coordination between the Architectural Design and any other design discipline required by the contracted project.
· Inform the clients and/or client representatives and manage their expectations to ensure a positive experience with the Company. Coordinate with the production team, and any other agent involved in the project to maximize the quality of the final product,
· Manage the scope, time and cost of the designs contracted assigned to this position.
· Manage/Supervise any subcontractor hired to develop the designs on a particular project.
· Design the projects taking into account standardization, efficiency and productivity throughout the phases of the project.
· Coordinate with the client in the construction and supervision stage to obtain and confirm any technical information required for the project for the purpose of ensuring that the maximum quality of the final product is achieved.
· Lead, and prepare offers to potential customers, taking into account the corporate guidelines of time, cost and scope, as discussed with Managing Director. Senior Architect is expected to review and analyze the scope, time and pricing before discussing these factors with the Managing Director for his final approval.
B. – Formulate and lead the strategy and operations of the operations to achieve the company’s required growth and profitability.
· Define the marketing and operations strategy and daily operations to support the Regional Goals (Budget, Profits, Strategic Growth, Marketing, Business Development, etc.), that are consistent with the overall corporation’s policies and goals.
· Select and manage the appropriate resources (collaborators and physical resources) for the regional team in order to follow through and support the marketing and operation strategies agreed upon at the corporate level.
· Manage and oversee the annual budget, profits, legal requirements, scopes and times for the services contracted by clients, which have been assigned to this position. Maximize profitability within yearly budget of the region.
· Oversee that costs for any project are always within the estimated budget, meeting the margins agreed on with the company and the amount contracted by the client. For any potential deviation from stated budget and margin, Senior Architect is expected to define the appropriate strategy to improve the economic efficiency (reduce cost, improve team efficiency, renegotiation with clients, etc.) in order to guarantee the business volume and profit established at the beginning for the project.
· Develop and create commercial opportunities as part of the construction of the Company’s marketing strategy. Participate in meetings with customers to fulfill the required business volume and margins established by the Company and support the growth and profitability for the regional office and company.
· Promote and oversee the well-being and professional development of the team members, taking into account the strategies and policies of the company.

Pay: $375,000.00 - $425,000.00 per year
