About the position:

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be a part of a small but mighty team. We all wear many hats but your main focus will be:

• Responsible for the full sales cycle process from making the connection, closing the sale, accepting payments and managing delivery
• Meeting weekly/monthly sales quotas
• Starting and nurturing relationships with customers and interior designers
• Maintaining clear and consistent sales pipeline management
• Proactively find ways to connect with customers and building deeper relationships to close sales and add value to clients
• Assist in inventory management duties to ensure new products hit the floor quickly
• Maximizing the store floor appeal by ensuring the store looks its best from light cleaning to re-refreshing vignettes

Qualifications:

• Luxury furniture & vintage rug experience is a MUST
• 2-5 years of retail selling experience
• A confident closer
• Excellent client & interior design relationships
• Comfortable with Shopify, salesforce, and google docs
• Detail-oriented, proactive & resourceful
• Passionate about home decor & interior design
• Appreciation for antiques & vintage one-of-a-kinds
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Reliable & dedicated
• Kind team player with a fun personality
• Must be able to work weekends & holidays

Preferences:

• Luxury retail sales experience
• Design experience
• Inventory management & operations experience
• Existing customers, interior designers &/or entertainment studio rental contacts
• Basic merchandising skills
• Basic photography skills
• Customer service & shipping fulfillment
