Entry Level Sales

We are looking to add self-motivated Field Solar Consultants to our sales team to promote and market our solar systems in residential areas. This is an entry level sales role. In this role you will start off lead generating by approaching homes and setting appointments while you are training, and once you learn how to make a sale you will be finalizing and negotiating sales.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Approach homes in residential neighborhoods to promote our solar products and services, and educate homeowners on the benefits of switching to solar
• Qualify and set appointments for customers looking to learn more, earning you commission
• Learn sales skills to negotiate and close sales, build rapport, and hone your skills
• Answer questions and make suggestions based on home and budget
• After trained, close sales
• Guide customers through the installation process
• Participate in weekly team meetings designed to help you continuously grow and learn
• Learn to build and retain your customer base
• Effectively schedule and prioritize your daily work activities

QUALIFICATIONS WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Customer service/and or sales experience preferred, but not necessary
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• High school degree or GED required
• Must be comfortable lead generating in residential areas and speaking with homeowners
• Should be excited and eager to learn about sales and solar
• Must be outgoing and great at engaging in conversation
• Customer-focused mindset and problem solving skills
• A positive attitude no matter the circumstance
• Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors
