Property Manager (HUD/LIHTC)
Our organization is in search of a Spanish/ English speaking Property Manager for a family residential property located on the west side of Cleveland. The candidate must have skills such as communication, leadership, affordable housing experience, previous Section 8 and tax credit experience and knowledge. Along with the below description, candidates must have great customer service and communication skills. Essential Duties include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein: - Working knowledge of computers; must develop a strong knowledge of YARDI Voyager software. - - Physical inspections of the property and direct supervision of the property. - Thorough knowledge of the market and the community's competition. - Direct supervision of the office staff and bookkeeping functions. This includes management of vendors, site billing and processing invoices. - Responsible for ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times for yourself and all property employees. - Responsible for thorough knowledge, implementation and enforcement of all policies and procedures ensuring through constant supervision and review of personnel. - Responsible for the leasing of the property; ensuring through effective execution of affordable housing and tax credit guidelines in a professional manner. - Responsible for generating various reports, including but not limited to the Weekly Vacancy, Delinquency, Turnover, Annual/Interim re-certification, and Eviction reports. - Responsible for reporting any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the residents or the community. - Any other duties assigned by the Property Owners. - Tax Credit and Affordable Housing experience is required! Directly supervises several employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with our policies and applicable HUD and OHFA regulations, and Ohio Housing laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Responsible for managing and developing others. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 2 years HUD/LIHTC industry related experience. Valid driver's license, good driving record. Candidates must pass a Drug and background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
