The Senior Sales Analyst will maximize effectiveness of Citeline’s commercial growth through the provision of actionable data, analysis and recommendations that enable our commercial leadership team to make profitable business decisions. This role combines both strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset driven by an understanding of our client base and broader industry drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall sales reporting and data governance including collecting, analyzing, evaluating, and reporting on sales data to measure sales performance, create and maintain sales dashboards in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, gather forecast data, and communicate sales results and metrics.
- Through understanding of customer base conduct whitespace and territory analysis to optimize territories based on industry trends and customer segmentation
- In conjunction with sales leadership, develop, align, and implement territory assignments and sales plans in line with business goals and objectives.
- Drive sales process/methodology improvements (including adoption of CRM and other reporting systems)
- Identify process bottlenecks and propose recommendations to track and improve performance
- Ensure new data, data sets of data sources are documented, understood, and used in dashboards
- Ensure day to day delivery is timely, accurate and complete
- Data-driven problem solver with the ability to analyze data, extract trends from analysis, and present a story to senior business leaders.
- Strong understanding of customer base, whitespace analysis, workload analysis, market share analysis, customer trends and customer segmentation to support effective targeting and territory opitmization
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills
- Deep analytic capabilities paired with strong commercial acumen
- Ability to work under limited supervision with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, business analytics, management consulting, or advising organizations
- Proven expertise in developing and utilizing a management operating system to drive sales performance. Ability to challenge convention and advance best-in-class commercial sales models
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Experience working with Salesforce data preferred
- Tableau or similar visualization tool
