We are currently seeking a Senior Vice President-Sales and Marketing due to an internal promotion. Reporting to the President of AprilAire, the SVP-Sales and Marketing will lead strategy and execution for sales, channel marketing, eCommerce, and customer service across a multi-channel trade and consumer business focused on the North American residential market. This individual will inherit a bold brand vision and a track record of consistent revenue, then drive profitable growth in new, adjacent and existing markets. This leader must be an experienced, capable and dedicated builder of teams and purpose-driven brands.

Madison, WI. Will consider remote for highly qualified candidate.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Collaborating with the President and leadership team to prioritize, build capabilities, and execute our portfolio of opportunities to deliver profitable growth.
  • Driving a fully integrated end-to-end customer experience through trade, OEM, eCommerce, and DIY sales channels, channel marketing, customer service and technical support.
  • Defining the vision and strategy for an integrated digital sales experience.
  • Building a sales force effectiveness strategy by defining and deploying CRM capabilities, sales processes and KPI’s.
  • Managing, developing, and recruiting sales and marketing employees across multiple sales channels and product categories.
  • Collaborating with Product Development on new products, leveraging consumer and trade insights.
  • Developing pricing and promotion strategies in partnership with Finance and Marketing.
Qualifications:
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree Required (advanced degree in Business or other related discipline preferred).
  • 15+ years’ experience as a VP/Global Director level leader of sales, marketing, and commercial development roles.
  • Strategic experience in nationally brand recognized, consumer durables companies delivering solutions to the residential market. Light industrial/commercial sales a plus.
  • Must have extensive experience in trade sales (2-step distribution), B2B and B2C sales, channel marketing, retail/DIY sales and eCommerce channels including experience in pricing, promotion and account growth.
  • Proven track record developing sales teams, establishing processes and scaling up business results in a multi-channel environment.
  • Experience selling Smart Home solutions including residential and commercial IOT value propositions.
  • Results-oriented, organized, able to handle changing priorities in a high-growth environment.
  • Humble, unselfish leadership style. Derives satisfaction from player/team development.
