Peterson Properties, Inc. is a Property Management company seeking an experienced professional Leasing Agent/Consultant for our apartment communities in Wichita, KS.

The right candidate will be customer service oriented and experienced in Leasing, Sales, and Data Entry. We are seeking a candidate who is reliable and responsible.

Overview of Responsibilities:

The Leasing Agent/Consultant conducts business in accordance with company policies, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other applicable laws. Some duties of the position might not specifically be addressed. It is expected that a Leasing Consultant will perform reasonable tasks consistent with fulfilling company objectives and providing support to our Leasing Office.

· Opens and closes the leasing office and attends meetings when requested.

The typical schedule is: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm, some weekends needed.

· Performs additional duties assigned by Assistant Manager, Property Manager, or Supervisor.

Performs Marketing & Leasing related duties as assigned.

· Maintains a professional yet friendly atmosphere in the leasing office and other areas where prospective & current residents might meet.

· Inspects models and market ready vacancies to ensure cleanliness and readiness.

· Answers incoming phone calls and emails and directs as appropriate.

· Greets and qualifies prospective residents and determines needs and preferences, and professionally presents apartments and overall apartment community while communicating benefits and features.

· Maintains awareness of local market conditions and trends to contributes ideas for marketing property and improving resident satisfaction and service.

This is a FULL TIME position requiring weekend availability.

Position requires working at 2 locations within close proximity to one another.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
