Preferred Contracting and Construction is a rapidly growing company located in Woodbury, MN serving Minnesota and Wisconsin. We are looking for dedicated and motivated individuals to join our expanding retail and insurance sales team. Candidates will have a strong work ethic, be passionate and excited about sales and working with homeowners to find solutions for their roofing, siding, windows and more. We will show you how to thrive in a near recession proof industry.
Compensation: $48,000 - $200,000 per year
Responsibilities include:
- Understand and articulate materials and products we use to customers.
- Meet with homeowners to provide an inspection of potential damage on property.
- Listen to homeowner’s wants and needs to create a detailed and thorough estimate.
- Assist homeowners with the insurance claim process.
- Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers.
- Work with production managers and office staff to ensure the success of every job.
- Create, plan, and deliver estimates and reports on company services and products.
- Track all sales activities in CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly.
- Be responsible and accountable.
Qualifications/Skills
- Experience in the home improvement industry, especially roofing, siding, gutters, and storm restoration, is helpful but not required.
- Prior experience in retail sales, door-to-door or B2B is also helpful but not required.

- Problem solver, ability to think on your feet and provide solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Highly motivated, self-starter
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- A flexible schedule
- Able to climb a ladder, walk on roofs, and lift ~50 lbs
