A. Summary of Position: Direct fundraising programs related to annual giving, major gifts, corporate gifts, leading all fundraising activities and major projects. Responsible for pursuing and securing major gifts and charitable foundation grants. Develop and implement key fundraising strategies and initiatives for maximizing individual donations. Implement donor recognition. This position reports to the Chief of Development.
B. Principal Accountabilities:
1. Donor Cultivation, Stewardship and Retention:
· Develop an active portfolio of donors capable of donating 10,000 or more.
· Research potential and current donors to create appeals.
· Manage and execute the Annual Giving Campaigns.
· Expand program to promote estate planning that includes gifts to ATS.
· Create and implement personalized strategies for all assigned prospects.
· Coordinate and guide program leaders and volunteers.
· Prepare donor information reports for senior management.
· Develop prospect pipeline to identify and engage new donors.
· Create and record timely reports on all donor interactions.
· Help achieve fundraising goals.

2. Programmatic Responsibilities: Develop, execute, measure and report impact of the following programs:
· Annual Research Program Benefit
· Live/Virtual Lung Run
· Monthly Giving
· Staff Giving Campaign
· Other funds and campaigns as assigned
3. Operational Responsibilities:
· Coordinate the activities for ATS Funds for the Future Committee.
4. ATS International Conference Responsibilities: Develop, execute, measure and report impact of the following activities at the ATS International Conference:
· ATS Donor Appreciation Suite.
· Annual ATS Research Program Benefit.
· VIP donor hotel block.
· Meet and Greet events.
5. Supervisory Responsibilities
· Oversee legal firm for state charity registrations
· Work with Senior Manager, Development Analytics to leverage data to drive giving.
· Work with consultant team to secure external grants in support of ATS programs and mission.
6. Required Business Travel
· Attend the ATS International Conference (mid-May), as well as other meetings as needed.
C. Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Proven track record of successful donor relationships resulting in five and six- figure gifts.
- Desired skill sets include but are not limited to Salesforce or similar CRM, Pardot, Teams. Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage projects.
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Outstanding relationship management skills.
- Able to work as part of a team and individually.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
