Job Description

At Motion the Hose Specialists (Account Representatives) have the knowledge and skills to provide customers' industrial, hydraulic, Teflon, metal and composite hose needs. Responsibilities

• Work with local outside sales people to identify, quote, engineer, and close product and solution sales
• Independently pursue OEM accounts to identify, quote, engineer, and close product solution sales
• Provide technical support and educate customers, and inside and outside sales staff about hose products
• Work with Branch sales managers to provide business planning to reach product sales goals
• Work with and coordinate vendor resources to build relationships and support outside sales
• Routinely interact face-to-face with customers to foster strong relationships and maintain satisfaction
• Maintain appropriate relationship with key suppliers

Qualifications

• Sales and engineering knowledge of hose products with a focus on industrial and hydraulic and related products
• History of strong sales performance with emphasis on growth in new opportunities
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, organized, detailed and focused
• Moderate computer skills, including communicating internally and externally via e-mail
• Ability to multitask and manage time well
• Minimum of 2 years of hose product sales experience
