Job description: Outside Sales Rep

An Outside Sales Rep / Account Manager / is responsible for managing a customer’s needs on a daily basis while maintaining a professional and successful business relationship. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Cultivate and develop new accounts
  • Must be willing to "Cold Call" on potential new customers.
  • Consult fleets on lowering their operating costs through a Cost-per-mile analysis.
  • Conduct an ongoing daily schedule of calling on customers.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be apart of a team culture.
  • Deliver Commercial tires to your customers.
  • Comply with all driving rules (both governmental and company).
  • Follow company safety rules.

Requirements of this job are as follows:

  • 1 year outside sales experience; required
  • Prior tire experience is preferred, but we will train a motivated individual ready to develop a new career.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and good time management ability.
  • Must be adaptable and willing to be flexible in a fast paced sales environment.
  • Must be willing to learn new sales process of how to effectively call on customers and learn about tire technology.
  • Have an outgoing personality and able to communicate effectively and efficiently with customers.
  • Must be comfortable talking to customers.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Have a positive attitude and possess a great work ethic.
