Ascension Funeral Group is seeking a qualified and compassionate sales professional to join our winning team for the role of Pre-Planning Counselor. We are seeking a motivated self-starter who has the desire to help others while earning a competitive income. Our counselors guide families by helping them make decisions about the planning of their funeral services and cemetery needs in advance of their time of need. Our commitment is to provide the highest level of professionalism, service, and quality that meets and exceeds every expectation of the families we serve.

Responsibilities/ Requirements

• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
• Develop leads, schedule appointments.
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas.
• Comfortable with in-home sales and conducting group presentations.
• People-oriented and self-motivated.
• Experience in marketing preferred.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
• Solid work history.

To obtain the insurance license the candidate must meet the requirements of Ascension Funeral Group's background check process which includes, but is not limited to, a criminal history and credit check.*'
